Environment

Protecting the environment is an essential element of our production as well as of our business practices. Renner has committed itself to:

• strictly adhere to all relevant laws and conditions for environmental protection,
• to dispose of all emissions, whether solid, liquid, or gas, properly and legally, and to document all evidence thereof,
• to monitor and optimize consumption of energy of every kind, and if necessary, to reduce consumption. Monitoring is carried out and properly attested to externally by the DQS, in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1:2012.

All of the materials and alloys used in our production conform to the EU chemical regulations REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and to the EU’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) provisions.
The goal of this legislation is to eliminate problematic components, such as cadmium, chrome VI, or fluorous greenhouse gases, from products made. We expressly ensure that none of the materials listed are used in our production processes, or are put into circulation through any of the products we sell.
